Driving directions are provided from several nearby cities, and are continued below with specific directions to 6 DuPont State Forest Access Areas. Regional Directions All directions are to the Hooker Falls Access Area. See map and Directions to Access Areas below for other Access Areas.

From Asheville (via Pisgah Forest)
Take I-26 east to Exit 40, and take NC-280 toward Pisgah Forest. Turn left (east) on US-64 and go 3.7 miles to the Texaco station in Penrose. Turn right on Crab Creek Rd. and continue 4.3 miles and turn right on DuPont Rd. for 3.1 miles.

From Greenville, SC (via US-276 and Cedar Mountain)
US-276 north to Caesar’s Head SC and continue. Go 1.6 miles after entering North Carolina; turn right on Cascade Lake Rd. in Cedar Mountain NC. Take Cascade Lake Road 2.5 miles to Staton Rd (past the Corn Mill Shoals Access). Turn right on Staton Rd. for 2.2 miles.

From Brevard
See directions via Pisgah Forest or Cedar Mountain above.

From Greenville (Via US-25 and Flat Rock)
Take US-25 north to Exit 5 - Flat Rock-Tuxedo. Turn left on NC-225 toward Flat Rock. At second traffic light (Little River Rd./sign for Carl Sandburg Home) turn left on Little River Rd. and go to end. Turn left (at flashing traffic light) onto Crab Creek Rd. and continue for 7.1 miles to DuPont Rd. Turn left for 3.1 miles

From Hendersonville
Take Business US-25 (Church St.) south to Kanuga and turn right. Kanuga becomes Crab Creek Rd. after 3.9 miles at Little River Rd. (flashing traffic light). Continue on Crab Creek 7.1 miles to DuPont Rd. Turn left for 3.1 miles.

From Spartanburg (via I-26)
Take I-26 to Exit 53 (Upward Rd.). Turn left on Upward Rd. to US-176. Upward Rd. now becomes N. Highland Lake Rd. Continue to traffic light at US-225S (Greenville Hwy.). Turn left to first traffic light (Little River Rd./sign for Carl Sandburg Home). Turn right on Little River Rd. and go to end. Turn left at flashing traffic light on Crab Creek Rd. and continue for 7.1 miles to DuPont Rd. Turn left for 3.1 miles.

Access Area	From Crab Creek Road (Brevard/Hendersonville)	From Cedar Mountain (US-276)
Buck Forest	Turn south 4. 0 miles on DuPont Road that turns into Staton Road. Go past the Hooker Falls Access to Buck Forest Access Area of the left.	Turn north 2.5 miles on Cascade Lake Road and a right on Staton Road at the Agfa Plant sign. Follow Staton Road 1.3 miles to the Buck Forest Access Area on the right.
Corn Mill Shoals	Turn south 5.3 miles on DuPont Road that turns into Staton Road. Go past the Hooker Falls and Buck Forest Access Areas to a left at the end of Staton Road on Cascade Lakes Road. The Corn Mills Shoals Access Area is 0.8 miles on the right.	Turn north on Cascade Lake Road 1.7 miles to the Corn Mill Shoals Access Area on the left.
Fawn Lake	Turn south 5.3 miles on DuPont Road that turns into Staton Road. Go past the Hooker Falls and Buck Forest Access Areas to a left at the end of Staton Road on Cascade Lakes Road. Go 2.5 miles past the Corn Mills Shoals Access Area to a left on Reasonover Road just before US-276. The Fawn Lake Access Area is 2.8 miles on the left.	Turn north on Cascade Lake Road to an immediate right for 2.8 miles on Reasonover Road. The Fawn Lake Access Area is on the left.
Guion Farm	Turn south 0.7 miles on DuPont Road to a left on Sky Valley Road. Follow Sky Valley Road past the junction of Old CCC Road to the Guion Farm Access Area 1.6 miles on the right.	Turn north 2.5 miles on Cascade Lake Road past the Corn Mill Shoals Access Area. Turn right at the Agfa Plant sign 4.6 miles on Staton Road past the Buck Forest, Hooker Falls and Lake Imaging Access Areas. Turn right 1.6 miles on Sky Valley Road past the junction of Old CCC Road to the Guion Farm Access Area on the right.
Hooker Falls	Turn south 3.1 miles on DuPont Road that turns into Staton Road to the Hooker Falls Access Area on the right, just before the DOT bridge across the Little River.	Turn north 2.5 miles on Cascade Lake Road past the Corn Mill Shoals Access Area. Turn right on Staton Road at the Agfa Plant sign 2.2 miles past the Buck Forest Access Area to the Hooker Falls Access Area on the left, just past the DOT bridge across the Little River.
Lake Imaging	Turn south 2.6 miles on DuPont Road that turns into Staton Road to the Lake Imaging Access Area on the left.	Turn north 2.5 miles on Cascade Lake Road past the Corn Mill Shoals Access Area. Turn right on Staton Road at the Agfa Plant sign 2.7 miles past the Buck Forest and Hooker Falls Access Areas, to the Lake Imaging Access Area on the right.
